Doors are opening all over campus. The Open Door emblem has multiplied, speaking for the students making a statement about their acceptance and appreciation of ALL people. This appreciation spans the external and the internal, the visible as well as that which does not meet the eye, and encompasses ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, and ability. Individuals displaying this symbol choose to provide a positive reception for these attributes and promote equality and fairness among all people.
Now it’s your opportunity to join them.
Open Door is not a club, but simply a commitment. There are no meetings, projects or fund raisers, only personal convictions. Open Door is an expression of your beliefs, a subtle yet effective way of displaying your appreciation of everyone’s individuality. You are not expected to be an expert or therapist or activist, only a believer in everyone’s common humanity.
